Dye Gardening

Did you know that fabric and yarn can be naturally dyed using a variety of plant matter? This class will allow participants to learn about common dye plants that can be grown here in South Central PA.  We will explore all of the beautiful colors dye plants can offer as well as share resources for seeds and planting materials. We will explore color and growth habits of the various plants as we imagine our ideal dye gardens. Dye plants can be easily incorporated into an exsisting garden too!  Learn all about planting a dye garden just in time for Spring. Participants will also each recieve 5 seed varieties to get their gardens started.
